Doom Claims Albums with Madlib and Ghostface by end of ‘09

by chloe on April 28, 2009

Masked supervillain rapper Doom made a lot of hip-hop nerds happy when he released Bordoom-born-like-thisn Like This last month. Besides changing his name, the metal-faced character has stayed pretty consistent through the years and continues to kill it with the new Bukowski-influenced album full of dope guest appearances. In addition to Ghostface and Raekwon, Atlanta femcee Empress Starrh shows up and murks the track “Still Dope”. According to this Hip Hop DX interview with Doom, she’s the only rapper Doom considers an equal, which is a high compliment coming from someone who even Mos Def calls a rap-genius. If you haven’t already copped the new Doom album, get it get it here. Then look forward to the new Ghost + Doom and Madvillain albums, which are apparently dropping by the end of the year.
